Nelson Occasional Chair

No. 20-625-1
Nelson Occasional Chair

In the mid-1930's, a brash 26 year old American millionaire named Nelson Rockefeller hired Jean-Michel Frank, a modernist French interior decorator, to design his apartment at 810 5th Ave. The interior was stunningly modern and the Nelson Chair is our representation of our of Mr. Frank's most iconic designs. Our raised arm seems a bit more comfortable for modern audiences.

Hardwood frame; exposed wood and legs.
